When I began researching my family tree in 1999 I knew very little about my genealogy. Since then my family tree has grown to over 400 individuals. The most rewarding aspect of researching my genealogy has been visiting with relatives and listening to them share their special memories. These same family members were instrumental in my research.
All of my family members came together in and around Northampton County, Pennsylvania. Different branches of my family tree came from different areas of Europe at different times. The most recent immigrants to the USA are the Schneebelis. My great-grandfather Charles Schneebeli came from Switzerland in the early 1900’s. He settled in Sellersville, PA after arriving in Philadelphia, PA. Other branches of my family tree can be traced back to the early settlement of Pennsylvania.
Here is a list of the surnames in my family tree that I am researching:
- Kocher
- Metz
- Schneebeli
- Pendergast
- Steckert
- Schertzinger
- Houseworth
- Cripps
- Shellhouse
- Stevenbach
- Brewer
- Minnier
